A wonderfully soothing (and fun) grounding technique

I love to make lists and it appeals to me that this particular grounding technique involves making them. Do try it — you’ll probably enjoy it too!

Sit or stand comfortably. Smile, if you’d like. Then, do this:

List three of your favorite . . .

  • foods
  • flowers
  • trees
  • songs
  • movies
  • books
  • places

Feel free to add to these. If you’re doing this with children, a friend, and/or family — even better. The laughter helps!
