a…opposite and assumed that 99 times out of 100 you’re going to want your stories behind the paywall? If a choice is offered at all, it should be to opt out of paywalling a story.

Agree. I have had this happen to me. And when I try to enable it I get a notification saying it couldnt be done and to try again later. Wth
