Doing anything consistently takes its toll, Yana. And the engagement part needs a lot of energy. I had to take a short break to focus on my work (Medium is simply a labor of love for me and I truly enjoy being here, but I have to prioritize). I found that it is out of sight out of mind -- because as you rightly pointed out, there is a lot of excellent writing around with barely any engagement. Good questions in your post. I guess one must wait and watch. :-)
