I am sure it wasn't. I did not read your deleted post but being very explicit about soliciting anything can annoy people I guess. I thought a hundred times before I added the "Buy me a coffee" (thank you so much) to some of my posts. I write a lot of short form so I console myself saying that I am not pushing it with every post. I really would love to earn on Medium -- to help me meet my goals to make a big difference in underprivileged children's lives. I get what you're saying about your POV--of approaching it from not needing to do it. It is very kind of you to write this post. 🙂
