I enjoyed your narrative about how the book probably grew on you, Scot! Memoirs are tricky to write and I am just a bit terrified about how to create the flow for mine. I do have some ideas in my head that my gut says will work . . . but still. I liked the parts of the book that you highlighted and that makes me want to read it.
