I Interrupt Anxiety With Gratitude
If you tend to experience anxiety or panic when you are approaching something new, this is a wonderful mindfulness affirmation. It makes you aware of anxious thoughts as they appear.
By declaring your intention, your affirmation, you will help your mind to automatically switch from anxious thoughts to positive ones filled with hope.
For example,
Rather than “No way I am going to try this — I’ll surely screw it up” try “This is a great opportunity to prove what I can do!”
Rather than “This could only go one way — wrong” try “It is going to feel so great when I get this just right!”
Just reframe your thoughts. Think about those instances when things went right, when you accomplished what needed to be done.
I Interrupt Anxiety With Gratitude
Now repeat the affirmation. Feel the difference.
Be well ❤
