I have not been as active as I’d have liked to, on Medium, the past week —what with so much to do. As I mentioned in my last week’s roundup, I was traveling. I got back mid-week and had to get busy making up for the three days off.

Thank you to everyone who wished me a good trip — it was enjoyable and successful. We had a nice train ride up and down. In fact, since our city’s railway station has recently opened an aquarium — the first of its kind in our country — we went a bit earlier so that we had enough time to browse around. It was beautiful.

And oh, while I was away, Medium quietly sneaked this into my bio:

Nice-ish surprise, no?

Okay, enough about me, now!

Let’s delight ourselves with the wonderful posts I read this week. I love how I learn so much from the word-weaving maestros here. On more than one occasion I’ve thought: I wish I had written that!

Enjoy!

So you spent all season growing delicious veggies and herbs. Finally, it’s harvest time, and you have a cornucopia before you. What can you do with the excess before it spoils to compost? JM Heatherly has the answer in his post.

Ching Ching’s posts always make me smile — and I love how she weaves in life-lessons with her unique humor!

My heart went out to Aaditya Rajagopalan when I read his post about how he overcame stuttering.

Enjoy the talented Thief’s lyrical poetry (I’d love to know how he embeds the gifs in his post!)

If you are participating in the Medium Writing Challenge, Trista Signe Ainsworth has a fantastic idea in her post — please check it out.

Evelyn Lim shows you 3 Key Steps to Manifesting a Breakthrough from the Inside-Out and what happens when you miss even one step.

If you thought physical self-care is enough to be happy, Sandra Pawula offers you the concept of deep self-care with five practices for real change.

Zeenat Merchant Syal, M.A, M.Sc has 5 simple ways to begin your self love journey.

Parents so often hope they will say the golden words that will motivate their child to change when they are struggling. To help with this, Cathy Taughinbaugh offers 7 messages that would be wonderful for any son or daughter to hear.

Coming to relationships, what can you do when your friend is betrayed by their partner? Ali Hall offers three essential acts of support.

And if you are a child of the 60s or even 70s, you’ll enjoy Barbara Dalton’s post.

Adrienne Beaumont followed up with her own childhood memory.

I hope you enjoy this lovely collection of posts as much as I did!

Have a fantastic week ahead!
