Thank you for this post, Hein. Sadly, the writers who are not eligible for the Medium Partner Program are a huge number-and pay the 50$ annual/5$ monthly membership. A very huge number of us also put in time as editors with several publications, while being prolific writers. Let's hope something gives, soon. Thanks again for highlighting this issue. Personally, it hurts that I've been active here since June 2021 as a paying Member, am an editor with close to 14 publications. Keeping fingers and toes crossed!
